TATIN DESIGN ENTERPRISES

As the new owner of the long-established restaurant Safran Zunft in Basel, Alexandre Kaden sought, in addition to renovating the venue, to create a new visual identity for communications.

In keeping with the historical location, we developed a design that takes up the traditional values and links them to the here and now.

The visual heart of this Zunft (“guild”) is the saffron lily, an original image that is now centrally featured. We extracted the centuries-old venue’s original colors and incorporated these into a new design, allowing the splendor of the venue to radiate in a new light.

The reopening was a great success and we are very proud of this project.
