TATIN DESIGN ENTERPRISES

In August of 2013, Kolsimcha – Europe’s Klezmer band – recorded a new album with the top-rated London Symphony Orchestra at the world-famous Abbey Road Studio 1. Bandleader Olivier Truan composed all songs, and the band and the orchestra produced seventy-three minutes of outstanding music together.

We had the privilege of designing the CD cover and booklet. The challenge here was to develop a visual equivalent to reflect the unusual collaboration and the fascinating music they produced.

In addition, we designed the cover of the CD Geisterschiff, which was the result of a collaboration between Theater Basel and Kolsimcha who jointly produced the theater play of the same name.
